Leo and Anna Meredith founded Meredith Furniture in 1946.  They opened their new business on South 3rd Avenue where Ray's Wholesale Meats is now located.  John Shuel took over operations in 1971 and Mike Shuel followed as operations manager in 1977.

In 1986, Meredith Furniture became a member of the Pacific Furniture Dealers Association and joined 75 other furniture stores throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Norhtern California, Montana, Utah, Alaska and Arizona.

Meredith Furniture experienced a growth of 5 times over previous years with this expansion.  We would like to thank our many customers and their continued patronage during the last 66 years.
