Since 1927, Diamond Furniture has been a Philadelphia area based, family owned and operated furniture store serving customers throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.  Gary Diamond, owner of Diamond Furniture & Mattress, has retired and decided to sell the Bensalem, PA location to a 20+ year employee with the aspirations of continuing the family owned values that Diamond Furniture was built on.  In September of 2014, Diamond Furniture PREMIER was born.

The new owners have a vision to continue the legacy that has been built by Diamond, but, also believe that this new store needs to be more than just another low price furniture store.  Understanding that so many furniture stores are proclaiming to have the “lowest price”, Diamond Furniture PREMIER will continue to guarantee their prices to be the lowest, but, also bring back the genuine experience that only a family owned and operated business could provide by getting back to the “core” of what it truly means to be “family owned”.  In the new world of “big box” retailers and internet sales where price is the only focus and customers are only a number, Diamond Furniture PREMIER prides itself on their friendly atmosphere and treating every customer like a member of their extended family by showing the appreciation they deserve as valued clients of their family and growing business.  At Diamond Furniture PREMIER, it is commonplace to be addressed by name, welcomed and assisted by qualified personnel who are there to help customers in finding what they need instead of just taking orders, but most importantly, thanked for their patronage and support.   New owner, Ted Matela, his wife and his two daughters are frequently found at the store assisting customers on a daily basis.  They are “neighborhood” people who understand the values of family owned stores that have since been lost to “big box” retailers interested only in the sale.  At Diamond Furniture PREMIER you WILL feel like part of the family, NOT just another statistic or number.
