Founded April 1, 1977, Mark and Joan Halloran created the Appliance Sales & Service Company with one service truck.  They operated the business using their garage as a service shop and the family kitchen as an office.

On September 1st, 1979, a small storefront was rented at 102 West 2nd Street in Chaska.  Appliance and parts sales were added to enhance the company's image of being a full service appliance store, providing both sales and service.

On March 17, 1980, Appliance Sales & Service moved across the street to their own building at 105 West 2nd Street.  The remodeled jewelry store provided added space for a larger display floor and parts department, and for the first time, an in-store shop.

A new building was constructed during the summer of 1984 and on September 24th, Appliance Sales & Service Center, Inc. moved to it's present location.  This facility was constructed to provide our customers with a centralized location that provides them with the highest level of quality, selection, service, and customer satisfaction of any appliance dealer in this area.

On November 1, 1998, Mark and Joan sold the business to their son, Jim.

We have put much effort into being a good member of the community, providing good customer service, giving our customers full value for each dollar spent, and have done everything in our power to provide a safe, pleasant and secure place for our employees to earn their livelihood.

Our buildings and equipment have been maintained at high standards and our personnel have been recognized as being members of one of the most progressive employee groups in this area.
