Founded in 1970 by Don and Joan Perdue, Perdues, Inc., produced pine furniture in the western Montana town of Hamilton, and later relocating to Stevensville, MT as the business grew. The company soon branched into production of unfinished particle board furniture, which was marketed nationally. In 1972, Perdues, Inc., began producing finished furniture, specializing in promotional bedroom groups and in an assortment of chests, desks, and bookcases.

Early in 1987, Perdues, Inc., moved its offices and production facilities to a new plant on a ten-acre industrial park tract in Rapid City, South Dakota. A second generation of Perdues – Richard and Lori– assumed leadership of the company in 1998.

Under the direction of Don, Joan, Richard, and Lori, the company has grown into a multi-million-dollar national producer of competitively priced, high-quality promotional bedroom furnishings and home entertainment cabinets.
