This Writing Desk boasts an open case design with reeded semi-circle side stretchers and carved rosettes that call attention to a distinct union of contemporary and traditional styles. The desk is constructed from rubberwood solids and oak veneers in a light wood tone with a heavily distressed finish, smooth case lines and bold block legs. Offering three drawers total, the desk has a drop-front center drawer for keyboard and laptop storage and two utility drawers with one drop-in writing insert that can be used on either side.

MDF and particle board are used in quality furniture for areas that need to be stable, such as large surfaces. These durable wood products do not expand and contract with heat and cold and do not absorb moisture as much as solid wood, which results in stronger and longer-lasting furniture. |
